Ever wondered why the incredibly complex 3-dimensional world around us, often comes out looking so flat when we try to draw it?! Learn how to see more like an artist, straight away, and begin to draw things so they look more 3D and realistic. This session aims to stimulate our brains and open our eyes, at the same time as finding out how to use the wonderfully expressive, traditional medium of charcoal.
Sharmila is a contemporary artist and a passionate arts teacher. She loves to turn people on to their own creativity and empower them with accessible and effective skills. Whether working with the lusciousness of paint or exploring a broad range of dry media on paper, her aim is to demystify. She says, ‘I love sharing simple methods and imparting an immediate understanding of good technique, while at the same time having lots of fun. Come and join me and discover how to tap into your own inner artist!’
